Almost three years ago to the day we embarked on our first home exchange experience. Since joining Homelink late 2009, we’ve been overwhelmed with offers of exchanges both in Australia and overseas.
It’s positively the best way to experience living in another location. We’ve exchanged in Sydney, southern Spain and twice in London. We’ve turned down offers from Canada, the USA, France, Germany, Italy and New Zealand, it’s hard to be everywhere at once! We’ve stayed in modest suburban homes and much grander abodes in exchange for our inner city townhouse.
Currently we are holidaying on the central coast of NSW after giving up our home during the Australian Open Tennis tournament
